Driver Crashes Into Sioux Falls Rock Quarry

Sioux Falls Police are looking for a driver who crashed into the rock quarry at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds Sunday night.

A witness told police two cars were racing on Madison Street when one of the drivers lost control and rammed through the fence at the quarry.

The driver police are looking for fled the scene on foot.  The car ended up just a few feet from the edge of a 300 foot drop.

Fire crews were able to put the fence back into place and a tow truck managed to pull the car out without going over the edge.
