Dancing Bull Fischer Plea Agreement Deadline Extended

Authorities say the deadline for a plea agreement has been extended for a man accused of fatally shooting his uncle and wounding another relative on South Dakota’s Yankton Indian Reservation.  Twenty-four-year-old Dancing Bull Fischer has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, assault with intent to commit murder and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.  Fischer is accused of killing Tony Fischer Sr. and wounding Dominic Fischer at a trailer home near Marty on Nov. 27. The FBI says Dancing Bull Fischer allegedly used an assault rifle.  The plea deadline originally set for earlier this week has been extended to July 2.  Fischer faces life in prison if convicted.
