Ask-A-Lawyer Program Offers Free Legal Advice

Ask-A-Lawyer Program Offers Free Legal Advice

Need free legal advice?  It is just a phone call away during the annual Ask-A-Lawyer program.  Attorney volunteers will answer calls from 7-10 pm Wednesday and Thursday night and offer free legal advice.  Calls will be handled anonymously.  Organizers say these attorneys will answer general legal questions and refer the caller to specific referral services or a government agency if needed.  The toll free number for Ask-A-Lawyer is 1-877-229-2213.  The event is sponsored by the South Dakota State Bar Association.
