Alcohol Ruled Out As Factor In Crash

Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor in a two vehicle accident south of Mitchell that killed two people.  Blood alcohol tests performed on the drivers of the vehicles, 23 year old Sara Claggett of Tripp and 82 year old Donald Geidel of Dimock showed that neither had alcohol in their systems at the time of the crash.  Both Claggett and Geidel died in the accident, which happened on September 25th on Highway 37.  2 year old Lauryn Claggett survived the accident and was hospitalized with various injuries.  A final report on the crash has yet to be filed.
