15 Year Old Arrested For Sioux Falls Burglaries

A 15 year old former Sioux Falls Roosevelt student has been arrested in a burglary at Roosevelt high school.  Police are searching for another individual as well.  On Monday evening after football practice, several football players noticed their wallets and cell phones were missing.  Police viewed surveillance video which showed two individuals entering the locker room and stealing various items.  Yesterday, an officer recognized the vehicle the suspects were driving as it pulled into a motel parking lot .  The vehicle had been stolen as well.  Among the stolen items found were hand guns, burglary tools, cell phones, and wallets.  Police are tying the two juveniles to a string of burglaries around Sioux   Falls over the past month.  The 15 year old has been charged with eight burglary counts.  Police are still looking for the second suspect.
