The annual Food Pack will be held at the Corn Palace on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 with 2 hour shifts beginning at 8am and ending at 4pm. The food from the pack gets distributed to people suffering from starvation around the world.

The Mitchell Knights of Columbus are having a benefit breakfast for the Chad Haag family who lost their home to a fire last November.

The breakfast will be at the John Paul II School gym located  at 1510 West Elm Ave. in Mitchell on Sunday, April 19th from 9am-12:30pm.

Pancakes, sausage, egg hash browns juice & coffee will be served for a Free Will Offering.

Annual Earth Day Dinner

Sunday, April 19th 2015 - 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at West 3rd and Duff  will be holding their Annual Earth Day Dinner  on  Sunday, April 19th from 4:00 to 6:30 PM.

Serving roast pork loin, cheesy hash browns, vegetable, salad, bun and dessert.  Cost – Adults:  $10.00 – children 5 to 10 – $5.00 – Under 5 – free.  A portion of the proceeds will go to the Mitchell Area Safehouse.

Also available will be May baskets made by St. Mary’s women and potted geraniums plants.
