I rescued a 7 month old Shih Tzu in 1991, When I picked him up he was so scared he did not move an inch in our living room for over an hour. I wasn’t until our 2 year old son Josh gave him a kiss on the head and sat with him until his fear went away. Later that day at the vet we found out that MO was blind. Mo finally became part of our family 4 days later when I put him on my bed and he finally wagged his tail. All 5 of my kids helped teach Mo to go down stairs and where the boundaries were for our home. We learned to never leave things lie around or move furniture. In reward for our diligence in caring for this little blind dog, he gave our family unconditional love for over 14 years. Mo taught our family that Love and caring are the best things in life and no matter what don’t be bitter about the bad things that happen. Because of Mo and his love for my family, we all think he was an amazing pet.
