I grew up on a farm near Fedora, about 35 miles northeast of Mitchell. After graduating from Howard High School, I attended Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN to pursue a degree in Radio and Television broadcasting. An internship with CMT (Country Music Television) led to a traveling job with CMT Marketing, which led to a traveling position with Hershey’s for the Soul 2 Soul II tour with Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. After exploring the country, I am glad to be home to share my experiences and love of country music with KMIT.
I began as host of the KMIT Morning Show in October of 2006, and I enjoy waking up neighbors and friends with fun, information, and great music!
